Close to another mile has been added at Ballantyne, and dang you guys it looks sweet. Come check it out Monday night, 7/31 at 6pm. Meet at NC Velo, and we'll ride from there.

It's probably worth noting that this trail is not finished yet. We have a little ways to go before the loop is connected. We will ride the existing loop and probably do some out and back fun on the new trail.

Great turnout tonight with 42 riders.  Hope to keep that interest going and turn some of it into volunteer hours to continue buliding out this trail. Thanks to all who came to ride.

No. It's not marked. This was a publicity ride to try to get more people involved in the trail building effort. It's behind the Morrison YMCA .  It's not completed.

One loop is complete. Park in the back lot of the YMCA near the big pavilion and follow the road to the right of the pavilion past the gate. There's a kiosk on the left side of the road and the  trail starts there.  Second loop is currently under construction and a third loop is planned for after that.
