Showing closed but we've had no rain for a couple of days now. Is it really closed or has the status just not been updated?

Was thinking of trying to get out there today to check it out.

I'm guessing it should open up today.  Luis the trail coordinator is on vacation which may be why it showing closed.  We will be out there doing trail work on the new section from 10 o'clock until about noon or 1 o'clock if you'd like to join us for a tour.

Also keep in mind that the new loop ( The flow trail it is so much fun to ride)  it's not completely finished. There are portions that are still very raw with roots and holes and the last 300 feet or so of the return trail has not been compacted and is very spongy.

I'm hoping to get there later this afternoon around 4pm.

Thanks for the heads up on the new loop. Is it OK to ride for an exploratory look see?

Big thanks to Craig Jeff ( Great to have the trail running community represented) and Samir for coming out this morning and grooming tread. Things are coming along nicely out here in Ballantyne... and that's an understatement !!

It is. If you come across any areas that are soft. Tread lightly!  When you reach the end of the long downhill Trail turn left along the creek and look for the exit trail on the left to complete your loop. There are no signs there yet and there is a makeshift pallet across a low area.
