WWC Open heck yeah!!

I checked earlier today around 5 or 5:30 and the trails were closed so I took the road bike out to put a few miles behind me.
While riding around the gravel and hard road I noticed that the trails were open.

I did not ride them so I don't know what the actual conditions were but this is a good sign that they are able to open them sooner than in the recent past.

I have noticed that there has been a lot of drain clearing and such recently... this is needed and appreciated.

Excellent work guys...  Keep doing what you are doing.

Their website shows green for the trails. I checked it around 9pm.

Nice job WWC!  Still some small muddy spots, but IMO, 95% is good.  The drain clearing definitely helped the trails shed water.  Even the new Thread Trail addition was in good shape.  Many thanks.

The drains do look to be in good shape, so props for that. Now if someone could just go ahead and resurface tower 93 to smooth out the erosion ruts, that'd be great... Thanks.

There is more to it than smoothing out the erosion. That trail was not well though out and it is a mess as a result.  There needs to be a lot of water management work done on that hill then redesign the trail around that work.  There is a lot of potential on that hill if they wanted to do it right and keep it maintainable.

I believe that trail was built for one of the festival events in short order.  I also think that some of the management at WWC is absolutely dead set against the jump-line trails and have never been a fan of that trail in general...  If you look at ALL the recent trail maintenance around the facility that trail has had little if any attention paid to it.
