It was a cold wet one today in Pisgah.  Glad I was hanging out by the fire and not out on the bike. Major props to those who did though!

I bet you're just waiting for the dreaded Triple Dog Dare challenge.

I used to be addicted to the Hokey Pokey but then I turned myself around.

I was only crazy enough to try it once.  Day 2 started at 6AM with climbing up Daniels Ridge and Farlow Gap all the way to the top where algebra equations and ax throwing occurred before continuing on their journey.  Apparently it was snowing up there.  Hats off to everyone who made it. Your tougher then me

The main image that’s really stuck in my mind from the race is hiking up Daniels/Farlow at like 6:30am and looking over to my left at the raging river in the cold misty darkness. The white water against the almost black night was just so pretty.

One of those Pisgah moments that was like WTF and totally awesome all at the same time.  Wink
