BYT question

I have been putting in some time at BYT these last couple of months and am a huge fan of this urban trail.  After my ride yesterday i rode the new greenway paved path towards Tyvola road.  There is a trail that starts off the greenway to the left with a lot of big rocks leading to the trail.  I was wondering what that trail's stats are....mileage, terrain, etc...

Looks fun but i didn't have time to explore so thanks in advance for any info.

Tech loop it’s about 3 miles go up and go right. Not hard at all but interesting.

The Tech Loop is about 2.2 miles long. Pretty lame and tame for BYT. I usually ride it just to get that extra little bit of mileage.

I had some friends in town and we rode BYT, half the section around the athletic park, then rode the Park Road section and caught the other half of the athletic center on the way back.

We clocked 19ish miles (we did session some parts).

Total mileage will be just at 17 which includes mileage for connecting all the sections together. This distance is off a Garmin wheel sensor. Hopefully some more distance can be regained in the future.

Anyone ridden the Tech Loop in the last couple days? What are some features people might want to see in that section?

Personally i think it's cool as is, one spot i still cant clean, that left-back-to-right punchy uphill with the two big rocks making you think you're gonna pedal strike.  Other than that it's tight, technical and perfectly tech loop-y.  Now if the old wooden snake crawled back from the creek onto the trail.....

Also at this point i'm not planning on blowing Farmbrook side at all, traffic has sufficiently kept the leaves at bay.  I'll get PRP in a couple weeks and check on Marion Diehl as well.

Yeah, that's one of the spots I was thinking about when Santana said it was "lame and tame". Had me feeling pretty worthless.  Cry

What happened to that feature? If it's still available I can use it on the loop for sure. When I get the time I will be putting in a few skinnies and extending the small rock garden. In the near future I will be tearing down the big log ride to make room for a new one.

How about a wall ride on that laid over silo??  Great trail, but i guess some rock drops would be feasible.  Other than that nothing.  Great work on all these trails....KUDOS!
