You know what really grinds my gears?

People who pull their trucks up and literally park on top of the trailhead... The one at Sherman today was so grotesquely inconsiderate I hope someone leaned their handlebars into it trying to squeeze past the tree. The one at RRT who pulled up into the grass and parked diagonally across the exit awhile back? Well, there's a special place in the afterlife for him.

Also dig people who stop right in the middle of the trail. That's really cool.

Rant over.  Angry

Peace be with you brother, and may you find solace in realizing these first world problems.  Drink beers, ride bikes...be more like your dog. If you don't have a dog, get one. you prob already have the bike and beer.  More blessings!

My dog would’ve pissed on his tires...

Someone else parking his truck in a lazy, entitled fashion wouldn’t be my first world problem (though it would indicate I’m dealing with someone with a selfish, first world mentality). First world problems are like, “I hate it when I have to reach over the food in the front of the fridge to get to the food I want in the back,” or “I hate that my house is so big I need two routers...” The key word being “I”,

“I hate it when I have to park ten feet away from the trailhead to take my ridiculously expensive bike for a ride.”

All the same - dogs rule and peace be with you, too, brother!

(unless you parked in front of the trailhead)

Wink

Could be worse. Been there a couple of times when they missed the hole all together. There is a special place in hell for people who are that inconsiderate.

A couple months back I was walking back out of Sherman after doing some trail work and when I got to the lot a guy was unloading his car which was parked directly in front of the trailhead, which boasts a No Parking Sign no less.  Told him he was blocking the trailhead, he looked at me like I was the A$$$$$e but then got in his car and moved it.  I always thought a post strategically placed there would keep people from blocking the entry point.  Maybe I'll put that on a to-do list as long as P&R doesn't care.

I can probably donate a piece of 6" or 8" Ductile iron if you want it.

I like to park directly in front of the trail head to prevent others from doing so. Works every time.
