My wife and I are looking to purchase a medium (she's 5'8") framed mountain bike for her.  This will be her first one so we're looking at the beginner models and would like to keep the budget under $700.

Thank you all who messaged me.  I wasn't ignoring your message.  I just didn't know that I had them.  I don't get any kind of alert and being new to the site I didn't see the little area in the top right that I shows new messages.  

My wife is still trying to figure out what kind of riding she plans to do so we are in the saving money and researching part.
