Technically this is a ride so why not post it in the rides section!  Registration for the ride is here (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)  Thanks to the Cedar Stump Pub in Downtown Troutman for being our presenting sponsor.

We're riding all day with free lunch for participants, REI riders lounge with on site mechanics to keep you rolling, and we're raffling an REI Co-op cycles hartail mtb!  Full event details in the link above.

No, but the morning looks great for a bike ride so far!  We're pushing ahead and if the rain looks like it's rolling in we will shorten up the the stop time maybe say from 2-4 so we can squeeze it all in.

Will reschedule if necessary if the forecast changes for the worst and we will update via all of our communication channels.

The event has been canceled for tomorrow and will be reschedule for this summer.  The weather forecast is nothing short of horrible for all day trail riding...  Still working on getting approval from state park staff for the new date.  We are hoping for a June date, the 16th is our preferred date.

Thanks to everyone who has donated to the campaign so far!  It will still be open and we will be doing more pushes for registration and donations toward this project throughout the spring and early summer.

This happens this weekend (June 16th) .  Feel free to join my team The PresiKatsRule 5&9 or just donate( to any team you think has a better name).  All funds raised will go back into the trails at Lake Norman St. Park so every donation is a win for everyone who rides.   

This event is being sponsored by REI ( 1 of the largest supporters of the THTB ) and is important to the continued support of our trail systems.  Imagine if we had no trails!
