I anticipate that my RP23 is "non serviceable"
What is a good replacement shock for this?

When traveling in the wilderness always take a compass. It is awkward when you have to eat your friends.

That sir, is a very open question, there are quality shocks from fox, rockshox, cane Creek and others. All would have a shock that fits.  All about what type of money you're trying to spend and what is important to you.

I have an RP23 that came stock on a 2010 Titus & I had it rebuilt at the Trek Store in Ballantyne last year...works perfectly.

Unless there's something seriously wrong with the shock, it can definitely be serviced.

It's really simple:

Without pain, I'd never know what comfort was.

I did that once. Worked for about 6 months. Called FOX and they said my best bet with guaranteed results would be to send it to Fletcher. Did that and it came back as if no work was ever done to it; kept losing sag. Sent it back under 90 days. They replaced the lower unit with a black ano because the smoked gold ano tubes they had in house all had a "line", and mine had a line, and they said that is where the leak is. (I'm no engineer but but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me)
Now KB is asking me to immerse it in water to prove it's losing air.
This is getting old. The shock is a pain to remove; I have to remove the crank arms to get access to the lower unit bolt.

Hah. Did an immersion yest. Schrader valve stem has a small chip from likely a rock hit and it's leaking from there.
