Lost Wedding Ring - Rocky River

Oh no! I lost my wedding ring and I am pretty sure it came off as I was pulling my gloves off my hands in the parking lot at Rocky River.  I was parked about half way down the gravel almost to the tree.  It is a very plain and of minimal dollar value but obviously very high sentimental  value. It is silver with no diamonds or any thing else.  You would be a lifesaver if you found it!!!

Thanks!!

About 5 years ago I posted a very similar situation...same object, place & manner of misplacement.  Turns out it was in the couch!  I hope you find yours...

That means this happened 15 years ago, or you lost your ring 3 times.

Same thing happened to me at Poplar Tent.  I realized that I had lost it at the end of Goodman road and went back and found it.  After that I started taking it off and leaving it in the car.  Lost it three more times doing that by forgetting where I put it.  I'm on my third ring now anyway.  Lost the first one 2 weeks after the honeymoon.  I'll keep my eye out.

Seems like this is getting common at RRT; I'm pretty sure I remember a couple of others lost there. I quit wearing mine riding because I was concerned that a hand or finger injury might cause the doctor/ER to have to cut off my wedding band due to swelling.

Hope you find it; the value is way more than the sales cost. I'll be on the lookout when I'm there.

I'll get my brother to take his metal detector down and look for it as soon as I get the chance. He has found a key and a wedding band for others before. Just haven't had the time due to work so far this week.

All Mtn Bike riders should keep at least 2-3 spare wedding rings/bands in your vehicle at all times for emergencies...... kind of like a spare tire.  Sometimes a dozen roses will suffice.  Steve, at Rocky River, probably has a bag full of all shapes and sizes...... or close enough resemblance to get you back in your house.   good luck

Oh no! I’ve lost two in 15 years. I’m only entrusted with a cheap silicone one now.

After hearing of a type of injury called "degloving" or "ring avulsion" I never ride or operate any tools/equipment with my wedding ring on. A ring can be replaced, your finger/skin cannot.

WARNING: DO NOT GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH EITHER OF THE ABOVE TERMS. Just use your imagination.

As someone who managed to “deglove” my left hand in a bmx race I can assure you that this is nothing you want to experience. Trust me the cost of the ring will be much less than your medical bills.

2nd on the silicon rings. Way more comfortable. I haven't worn my metal one in years.

So I in fact looked at pictures and will never again wear my ring during any physical activities.
My wife saw and agreed thankfully.
