A buddy of mine lost his Garmin 500 series on the middle section of the Stairway to Heaven climb (ultimately ruining an otherwise great outing at Steve’s). He took a weird spill to the right, somewhere in the middle section (the long, gradual climb with some rocks and chatter). When he got to the top, he realized it was gone. We rode back down and looked for a long while, but the leaves made it tough. There is also a chance it came off on the tough bit of River Bluff Climb or the rock drop just before Stairway.

Not sure this one will turn up, but figured I’d throw this out to the trail gods and good karma (offerings were made) and hope that someone on here can come up with it.
