Was thinking about heading there in the morning. Anyone ride there today, and if so, how were the conditions?

There is a chance I may be there around 10:15 if the weather continues to holds. Be good to catch up. I'm sure the place is in good shape

I’ll be clearing the cobwebs out a little earlier than that . Most likely around 8ish. Would be good to catch up with you though

All was good yesterday with the exceptions of the lower sections that are avoidable by use of the wet bypasses. They were starting to come back later in afternoon however we had a brief but hard downpour 2/10ths around 7 pm so that would make it better to avoid those parts. The River View option is fine as for most part it runs on a ridge at the river edge. I've been trimming face slappers as much as I want to but have fell behind. I'll spray some when the rain showers let up.

Thanks for getting the face slappers. I broke a few off earlier this week when I could see them coming.

After the rain this last night, you guys think RRT is good to ride on? Really wanted to get some miles in today but the weather seems to think differently...

For those interested, had half inch downpour Thursday evening missed the rain Friday afternoon. I advise taking the two bypasses down by the river. The River View option is good as normally is. Expect the normal amount of sticks and limbs anything big post or write on kiosk.

I made my first ride at Rocky River on Saturday.  Due to time limitations I could only do the green loop but, WOW, what a great set of trails!  I really appreciate that you, Steve?, would make your private land available for public use and to put so much effort into creating and maintaining such a wonderful trail system.  BTW, I really like the bizarre decorations too!

Thanks again!

There are arrows at just about all the places you could turn off on the wrong turn. There are some dirt roads and a good bit of ATV lines crossing over so it can get a little busy.  I would think you'd be fine-perhaps just slow anywhere you have the option to turn until you see the arrow to confirm but generally just take the singletrack when you have a choice.  There is 2 options to skip lower areas in the wet season that are signed "wet bypass", but these days you needn't take them.  Its a tuff 14 miles but its a hoot.

Thanks for all the offers let's hope for the best. Went around today and secured some of the bridges along the river with rope. They were already anchored but if worse comes to worse maybe they will still be there. Grin
