Hey guys!

I just graduated from GMU in northern VA and I am moving to Charlotte this weekend for a full time job I got.

I just got a new 2017 Diamondback Mission Pro. I also have my Raleigh Tokul 2 for tamer stuff. I am looking to meet some new people to show me around the local Charlotte trails as well as the mountain rides (pisgah, dupont, and bike parks). Love to try all the local rides as well as the gnarly mountain downhills.

This upcoming week from June 5th to the following weekend I am free and do not start the "real world" till Monday June 11th, so I am trying to use this time to explore all the trails I can and test out my new bike!

If anybody is free to show me around or just have any tips that would be great! I watch youtubers like Seth, singletrack, and BKXC all the time so I have a fairly good grasp on the types of riding in WNC mountains.

I heard that BYT is awesome and its right by where I will be living, but that the signs are confusing so a guide would be great. Also love to try local rides like Sherman and Rocky River, I've been to WWC too. I have only been riding since November, but I have rode a ton of back country mountain trails in VA on my HT as well as almost all the blacks at Snowshoe bike park (on a rental of course). Love me some DH, but don't mind earning it.

Thanks!

Kevin

We have many miles all over the area and at least 4 parks that are getting trails put in now. I also found some park property that might be prime for another set of trails. When I get time I will look into this piece of property. It’s in between the WWC and mountain island dam. BYT is ok but we have so much within 2/3 hours of drive time around here and tons locally. I’m not sure how many miles are on the ground but all of it is good. Lots of stuff for different riding styles and capabilities. Enjoy!
