I saw Will Washam riding in the parking lot at the Shaver center last evening and he told me that Caroline came in second place in the dual slalom. Congrads to you young lady!!!

I went out today to watch DH practice and one of the ladies fell at the "Loading Dock" on the race course. I think she broke her leg? 
Anyone know how the Charlotte racers did on the DH? Please post up if you know the out come!

Caroline Washam got 2nd place in the Downhill, and she beat Jill Kitner which is pretty awesome!  Jill was the bronze medalist in bmx at the 2008 Olympics and is a 7 time US downhill national champion.  Caroline came out of the week with silver in Pro Dual Slalom and Pro DH

Nathan St. Clair also got 2nd in the junior expert 17-18 downhill race yesterday.  Nathan came out of the week of racing with Bronze in the Dual Slalom and Silver in the DH.

Great week for Charlotte area riders racing at the highest level in gravity events!

Way to go Caroline!

I personally crashed more on race day, in practice and my race run, than I have in the past 2 or 3 years combined. Placed 4th in cat 1 40-44.

All I got was this sweet pic from Weldon Weaver.
