Riding at Night?

Is it ok to ride most of our local trails at night? I know that if there is a gate you would have to park outside and ride in but I also assume that's frowned upon. There are gates for a reason. I mostly ride North Meck Park and it's getting pretty dark on my last lap these days. Thoughts?

What about WWC or Fisher Farm?

North Meck = yes
WWC = Yes
Fisher = No, not with out permission from town of Davidson before hand
Sherman = Big No
Lake Norman = Big No and the Rangers are armed
Signal Hill = I think its ok
Big leaf = Not sure
Rocky River = Steve is nice enough to let us do this
Uwharrie = go for it

That covers most of the North side

Thank you! I'll have to look at the signs and see when they close the gate at North Meck Park. Can I just park at the Church next to it and ride down? Really glad to hear WWC is open for night riding.

Yeah, we usually park in the back lot of the church closest to the park when we night ride N. Meck.

Do what you like. Stop hating people for their riding habits and get back to hating them for their skin color, religion, politics, and sexual orientation.

Yes.  Parking at the church is the accepted game plan for night riding at North Meck.  Y'all are some gnarly dudes that ride RR at night.  That place takes my full awareness in the day time.  Let alone trying to ride it at night w/ shadows/etc.  Shocked  We ride NM a lot in the winter when it gets dark so early plus its tame enough of a trail system I think its probably the safest of the bunch.
