This is an "exclusive" trail. Industry insiders only.

What Tom said. No place to park except for about 4 to 5 cars.

Wow...can't wait!  I've always kept the rubber side down but it seems it's time to learn to fly.

Yup.
At the behest of the Developer, in order to get some footage for promotional purposes, we put together some staged riding shots for a professional photographer hired by the developer.  They are the ones who have fronted the money to hire a professional trail builder to speed the process and are the ones that are donating and working on the construction of the before mentioned parking lot.  The footage in the video came from that day.

No one in Charlotte wants it open more.  It would solve many of the problems we are dealing with managing the property.  But the question was "open?"  The answer is no, not yet, but I would like to add I really wish it was.

Thanks for the shout out for my video!  I'm pretty stoked for how it turned out.  And thanks to Tom for letting me join the group for the shoot, it was an awesome day out there.  Dixie River is going to be pretty epic when it is all completed in the next few years.

With all the development intended for that area, is there any chance the trail could be impacted, or, is it in the master plan?

Great video

No, the mountain bike trails and the residential and commercial areas of the property will all be linked together with access trails.  These trails are on the part of the property designed for recreation.  They want a good portion of the trails to be built and open before construction of homes and businesses starts.

Is there a projected date to finish the parking lot?  I thought I read a few months ago they finally got through the red tape of permits or issues with trees or something. Has the parking lot been started?

Last I heard, parking lot construction was out for bid and sometime in October.  Not sure if that means they expect the bid process to be done in October, construction to start in October, or completed in October.
You know as much about it as I do now.

Here's a sneak peak of the XC loop. A little over 5 miles in length.  Lots of flow in both directions and really well built.

I made another trail video for the XC loop, this time in the clockwise direction.  The trail has a ton more flow in this direction and only one major climb at the end.  Check it out if you haven't already.

You mean air line and yes the next jumpline corridor has been kinda cleared and just waiting for the person who is in charge of his jumpline to have some free time to get back to it. Going to be fun and I'm looking forward to getting back to packing some dirt asap! Matter of fact I will call him this week to see when we might start back. Going to be very interesting!

Agreed, the trail flows better in the clockwise direction, I have ridden both directions multiple times to get the feel and really prefer clockwise direction - great job!
