	Gaston County Parks and Recreation will be hosting the 3rd Annual BIKEFEST on Saturday September 29th 2018. The event will be held at George Poston Park from 10am until 2pm. George Poston Park is home to over 10 miles of mountain bike trails and was named a National Recreation Trail in 2015. BIKEFEST will feature the grand opening of our pump track, live music, food truck, bike demos, local bike shop vendors, guided trail rides, and much more. Bring your bike(s), join the group ride on the trails or explore the new Velosolutions pump track. Should be a fun day!

	Weather is now trending lower chance of/no rain. But if it does, it is Poston where trails never close for rain.

	I would like to congratulate GasCo with the first actually paved trail in the area! But seriously that pump track looks sick, if you haven't been there yet you need to go see it in person.

	Nice work Scott and crew! Hate that I'm missing this, but headed to Mulberry Gap. Will probably take the kids there next weekend.

	Took the family out to the Bike Fest last weekend and had a great time. That pump track is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!!! My kids and I rode that thing for close to 4 hours and they were ready to go back again on Sunday. Thanks to PASA and whoever else helped in getting that funded...It is a fantastic addition to the CLT area bike scene.
