The 9/29 shows open, and the 9/26 shows closed -- I am going to trust the newer posting, but just in case an admin can clear this one up...

Yep go with the latest one. It's a two step process to open/close so this will happen occasionally

BTW, if anyone ever has a question and wants a definite answer on if the trails at LKN are open or closed just call the park.  The park staff updates the status on our wesbite as well.

since LKN is a State Park the trails are literally chained if the staff have them closed and they will write tickets for folks on the trails.  So it pays to call ahead if there's a question and you've driving in from a distance.
