Dixie River Trail?

Any updates on the Dixie River trail near the airport?

I heard it was suppose to be opened sometime in October but haven't heard anything in a little while.
Also will that trail system be managed by the THTB?

Thanks for the info!

It will be a little while before opens due to getting a parking lot installed.  It is a Trailblazer built and maintained trail.  This property has actually been in the pipe for over 10 years. Wink

That did not stop the TTB from doing weekly rides on the down low while Catawba was transformed to the WWC.  There's already 5+ miles of single track at Dixie, excluding the jump line, per previous posts, and videos.

Why limit rides only to those that know the password.   Lips Sealed

Land managers probably wouldn't be stoked if the police had to be called for a bunch of cars parked on the side of the road causing hazards to the others that fly through there. Because you know people are lazy and would park as close as possible so they wouldn't have to pedal in on the road even if there is a safer parking spot.

How are you gonna bring up some 12 year old garbage to support your case? If you got involved, you'd already know where it is.
