Ready to get in on the  beginning of a new trail system?  Here is your chance.

We have the rough cut done for the first half mile loop in Mt. Holly (Mountain Island Park) and need help with the final cut and benching, so that we can start riding it and packing it in.

When: 9:00 to 1:00 on Saturday 10-27-18 (May also meet again on Sunday 10-28-18 if there is interest)

Where:  We will meet at 9:00 am at the start of the greenway entrance at the base of Mountain Island Lake Dam.  If you come late you will need to walk (or bike ride) down to the trail head, which is appox. 1/2 mile from the gate on the greenway.

What to Bring: Gloves and water, also recommend long pants, bug spray and a snack if you so desire. Tools will be provided (unless you have your own favorite trail tool).

I will keep an eye on the weather and post any changes if needed.  If rain becomes a factor we will postpone till Sunday (10-28-18).

Looks like some nice elevation change from the photo.  Any plans for part of the trail to be downhill and jumpline oriented?

Not sure but there is some nice flow/jump trail being built at Allison Farms in Davidson.  Stay tuned for workdays.

EVERYBODY LOVES TO BUILD A BRIDGE.  MILT has two that need to be built.
The poles are there and just need to moved in place.   We also have a bunch of rough cut trail ready to be cleared and finished.
