Fisher is now open.  Spent a few hours yesterday and today blowing out the drains and the heavy leaf litter.  Was quite wet under those leaves and should dry out nicely!  Trail was in great shape other than the handful of spots that get muddy this time of year.

Have fun!

Thanks Jeff! We’ve all put on a lot of time in that trail. We will definitely put some new signs there telling people to visit this page for trail conditions, a couple of game cameras and we are thinking on putting a flag system (red/green) to let people know when it’s closed or open.

I can understand the reluctantly to Open the trail given the time put into it, however there comes a time to just go for it with the understanding a little "damage" may occur.  It's the nature of the sport.

Day 5 of sunshine and a trail is still closed.   Huh

I went on Tuesday to repair the ruts in the flow loop and the ground was still very soft. Especially around the pines area where there’s no direct sun. It needed at least one more extra day to dry. In fact, you’ll see that there’s still standing water off the trail.

Trail is open now.

I thought of that while riding my bicycle.
