RRT - Kudos and a Caution

Steves was great shape today so kudos to you Watcher dude! One thing though - 2/3s of the way on the long straight stretch of Stairway, there is a 20’ or so section of barbed wire fence that was previously under the dirt on the right side of the trail just inches off the path. I noticed it when a loose rock kicked my front wheel on it and somehow it didnt puncture the tire. Anyway, heads up as it is way dangerous and still connected somehow so i could not push it out of the way.

BTW - the chainsaw work has left us with some cool “gates” out there! It actually adds a neat feel to an already great trail. Thanks for letting us ride on your land!

Btw - although i do not have a leaf blower, if ayone has one i can use on RRT, I would be glad to do my part and support Steve’s great trail by going to finish out the little bit of trail that has not been blown yet. The farther points like Ole Chunky are still leafy and ive got time if someone can get me access to a blower. Ill be glad to pay for the fuel as well.

The trail is in amazing shape. Rode there Sunday and everything is good to go except the bridge to the viaduct that got taken out by one of the many trees that fell down.
Thanks Steve.

The wire has been removed and the bridge was repaired Sunday afternoon. The reroute on River View was done about 4 this evening.

RRT is one of the things I am most THANKFUL for on this day.
This place is the crown jewel of Charlotte area trails.
Thanks for all you do Steve.
