12/8 9am
Pond parking lot (left at the stop sign, all the way back)

We are replacing the 20 foot bridge with hand rails below the dam, with a 24' bridge. This will be a pretty big undertaking, so I'll take as many hands as I can get! Bring gloves and water. We'll order pizza, and I'll make sure there's beer when we're done  Cool

I wish I could make it but I will be out of town.
That bridge once floated about 100 feet down stream and we were able to pull it back up onto the banks and reset it with a work crew led by Frankie P. back in the day.  It's had a full life I'd say.

It’s been there as long as I remember, from the early 2000s. It’s still going strong, but unfortunately the bank is washing out underneath it.

I should be able to make it, the last time I lifted a 24 ft bridge by myself it was tough...

Sweet.

Keeping an eye on the weather. Things look a little gross at the moment.

There is a chance I may partake.  If Super Dave commits I'm a lock.

We are postponing this workday. Rain and 40 degree weather, followed by snow the next day is not ideal for standing in a creek using power tools. Stay tuned for reschedule.
