I assume some of you know " swany" mike swanson  -
Not sure if thats spelled right 🤔

Anyway he did some trail work at peewees back in the day  when he ran Clark Bikes in hickory ..

Anyone have some pictures of how the trails looked back in those days ?

Better question has anybody heard from him recently ?

....??.....

Where'd the rear wheel go in that last pic?  It was attached at takeoff but not on the landing.

He cased the lander and removed the wheel.  It looks like he is lucky to have gotten his front tire on wood, I'm guessing it would have been much worst than a new bike purchase if he hadn't

They were submitted by different user names, not sure who they are since when FRs was open we were too busy to follow each user and learn who they were.  Here's a link to all things pee wee on the picture pages

I blew up my old Subaru wagon on the off ramp coming off 16 so I left it and rode the bike to PeeWees. Is this place still around?

When did those features get built at Pee Wee's? I had only gone out there 2 times way back in 2001. I met some guy with a prosthetic arm "from the elbow down" who was riding there once.

I'm guessing that those pictures were submitted from 2003-06 but I could be off

Yeah 03-08
I think in 08 was the last bike fest mike " swanny" had there

Story goes a  Father let his 12yr old son ride the creekdrop and the child got hurt real bad
Broke his neck ...
Anyway the ramp was roped off and the father un-roped it to let his kid ride it 😝

I hear after that  incident  and another with a small girl falling off one of the teeter toddler's and hurt herself as well  - That Linda (the land owner) was  hesitant about letting the features stay

Sad too because that was a great place back in the day
