1/5 9am
Pond parking lot (left at the stop sign, all the way back)

We are replacing the 20 foot bridge with hand rails below the dam, with a 24' bridge. This will be a pretty big undertaking, so I'll take as many hands as I can get! Bring gloves and water. We'll order pizza, and I'll make sure there's beer when we're done

What do we need in the way of tools?  I can bring the club generator and my corded 1/2" drill if need be. Smiley

Yes, if you can bring the generator and drill, that would be great! We were using a borrowed generator last time.

I'll be there. I can bring my 7 1/4" corded Skil Saw if there will be a decent generator (at least 2000W).

I'll bring a couple sawhorses and my battery power tools as well.

Push this out a week and I'll join.  Might be a little less muddy. Angry

True dat, unfortunately.   Can't even get it cold enough to freeze the trails anymore.

I'm happy to see you guys had a good turnout.  I was hoping to join you all but couldn't get away from other obligations.

I noticed a board with Tarheel put on it, was that router out or stained?  How/where was that placed.  Assuming the whole club name is on there, that's a great idea.  For those that don't pay attention to the signs on the trees, most people look down when they walk over a bridge.  It would be a great way to give the club some recognition for the work done on the trails.

Thanks to all of you that showed up, I appreciate you giving your time and energy.

@SirNotAppearing whats being done with the old bridge now sitting on the side?

Is it being disposed of or re purposed?  If you are not re purposing it, and have to dispose, I live right here and can use / re purpose the wood?

Let me know.

PS.  Looks really great guys.  Thanks for all the hard work!

I think we're going to use it for the mud spot right beside where it is. We just ran out of time to get it set.

That's a good call.  It has always been loose there. (even after light rains/water)

Thank you THTB'rs for all you do.  If you work there again soon, I'll try to show up and help.
