Places to ride up by Morganton?

Hi, Looking for info on good trails to ride just north of Morganton (maybe by the Lake James State Park). Any advice?

Skills sets on the trails are for the whole family:
11 yr old - beginning trails.
14yr old - intermediate
Spouse  - Enduro - Lo Barnechea, Chile level

Paddys Creek,  the trails are inside the state park,....best flowing trails around   15 miles of trails  nothing technical at all
