Steve you may already know about this but I was caught off guard by it. I was used to being able to roll down the back side of the large rock feature after the Jason mask downhill. Much to my surprise, yesterday, the small rock on the back side of it had been moved away and this created a small gap. I was able to pull up enough and not go OTB but my rear wheel land square on the rock edge and punctured my tire. This is not a complaint and I guess the look before you leap rule applies but just a heads up for other people that hit this feature.

Thanks for letting me know. I believe I have it back closer to the way it was. It was a mighty good sized rock to have been moved as far from where I remember it being. Looked like someone had moved it but we'll never know for sure. I'm surprised you didn't have a bad crash there was a big gap couple of feet in there. If it moves around some more I may just block that option off. Thanks again for alerting me.

What area of the trail is the big rock?  I've been out there a few times over the last two months but I'm not sure what you mean by the Jason mask downhill.

It's at the top of the down hill to the river.  Right past Steves back yard.

It is close to the beginning of the trail. One of the first downhill sections (before any of the major climbs).  It is very easy to miss the entrance to it and just ride by it on your left. It is an optional offshoot from the main trail. I know it is there and I still miss the entrance sometimes.

I remember seeing the start of something there a few years ago but I guess it must all look overgrown now.  I'll have to look out for it next time.
