Debonair Air Spring upgrade, anyone done it?

I did this on my Pike a while back and changed my travel from 140-150 at the same time. Feels a lot better mid stroke but am curious if others have done the same and experienced similar results? Did you use spacers?

I made the change on my pike from a 130 to the 140 debonair.  I was able to drop a volume spacer and the fork was more plush overall.  Not mind blowing but a nice (and cheap) upgrade.  The new negative spring is nearly identical to the luftkappe setup.

How does the piston lock into the bottom of the stanchion? I was reading that the debonair piston does away with the irritating circlip.

Nope, its still there to hold the seal head in place.  It is an aggravating clip for sure.
