The good folks at Granite Quarry Athletic Club mobilized the kids & community and managed to get the GQ Aldermen to approve building some mountain bike trail and a pump track on land owned by the town:

Given the piece of property referenced in the article, the trail won't be long, probably less than 2 miles, but I'm told there may be opportunity to link with a couple of other nearby parcels in the future and grow that number.
