Beatty is a great trail and is different than any trail around. Builds you up technically and many kids enjoy it as well. Many man hours and volunteers help build and maintain it ever year. Why do we continue to acknowledge this worthless breath of air in Robert c? Honesty he probably has done absolutely nothing to help any part of society beside blow bs air. Enough with encouraging this clown.

Everybody's got the right to their opinion.

I dont ride there, since I took my SS rigid there 6 or 7 years ago, or there abouts.
Got tired of tailgaters on big travel bikes, playing chicken with walkers with little kids, etc.. yep, the erosion and roots are breathtaking.

I understand theres been alot of work done there recently, but so many better options nearby I haven't bothered to check it out.

Nope not when you have someone completely worthless trolling on the site for years. No you lose your opinion and just sound like a whiny idiot.

I don't get people that complain about it who aren't out there maintaining it.  We all make choices and no one is forcing anyone to ride it!?

This.

Robert might have forgot which web site he was posting on.  This is the Trailblazer web site Robert, these are the guys who build and maintain the local trails.  In fact the majority of trails in the Charlotte area.  So, like was implied above, if you don't like the trail Robert, volunteer to help fix the areas in the most need, or go ride somewhere else.

My initials are on several of the wooden features in the session / black diamond area.    As for the sections of turf block that are exposed on the first climb after the small bridge when you take a left off the green trail, the 8 or 10 of them......

Sit down Solar.  Before you accuse, check your facts.

Offering credible challenge is not trolling.

My wife rides Beatty on her size small Trek Procaliber with 27.5" wheels and has no problems. Maybe its the 19psi she can run for tire pressure or it might just be she can ride a bike and doesn't complain about a few roots.
The only reason I don't ride there very often is its just to flat for my taste of trail, but I still enjoy it when I do.

Settle down there Robert, your post make you sound like your ready to throw a trail away that many people ride regularly and enjoy. FJB is a good trail. I just rode it this morning along with the pump track.

I didn't accuse you of anything, so you're welcome to check yourself.

Its a hell of a lot more productive to do something about the problems than it is to b***h and give up on them.

And since your initials must be faded considering how long ago those features were put in the black diamond section, I can say the features I helped build were done in a sustainable way and all are still as strong, functioning well and not having the ground erode around them.

If you aren't happy with the trail and don't want to help fix it, go ride somewhere else.

+1 on the pump track. It rips and has already made me a better rider...
