Uwharrie trail status

I apologize if I missed it...  I didn't see anything on the home page and a quick search of the forum and Forest Service website didn't yield any tangible results.

Is there an official Uwharrie trail status?
     If so, where?
If not, how do you gauge if its too wet to ride before travelling?

I'm planning to ride later this week and will be coming from Raleigh, NC; just wanted to make sure it was open.  Forecast looks pretty promising but wanted to double-check.

Thanks!

The Uwharie trails generally do not close. I've ridden Keyauwee in the rain. It is rocky enough and drains well. There is a soft spot running for a couple hundred yards near the upper end of Keyuawee but other wise it is good to go.
Supertree is similar. White tail is best ridden from the top down and there is a crossing that can be wet. Woodrun is all weather.

Enjoy! There is no water at the T/H.

Uwharrie is a National Forest.  It is always open unless the forest service goes out of the way to post it closed. Ridden there in Snow, pooring rain, and during a forest fire. Have fun and watch out for Timber Rattlers!
