OK folks.  It is official!  Trail status for Fisher Farm/Allison Farms and Cedar Valley Bike Park are now separate! CVBP because of it's nature will be closed more often than the rest of the trail system.   

Please respect the closures of both but especially CVBP.  A lot of hard work, free time and club resources have been invested into this trail to give this area an unprecedented depth of riding experiences.  Expect more to come in the following years that will guarantee smiles for miles!   

CVBP will have closed signs across it's entrances to further educate when it can and cannot be ridden.  Let's take care of this awesome resource that has been selflessly created for your riding enjoyment!

The entrance is right at the main entrance to Allison Farms. Down the power line and then to the left in the woods.  Kiosk and entrance are right there.  It's an entrance loop that feeds both Cedar Valley and the tech loop which has been renamed Twisted Sister.

This in from Weather Underground for Davidson area for today if it helps anyone wondering if trails will open at 8:30 as posted on the CVBP site:

Ric: a better view of recent rain conditions is at the site above. The reporting instruments for the Fisher Farm are is at the Duke transformer site near Fisher. It shows 2/100 inch last night. 
While the other loops at Fisher are open CV may not be. 
The TC for CV will be the one to change the status.

I'm leaving da house in Kannapolis for LNSP in a few. I will go by and check CVB and make a reccomendation to Evan. 

OOPs LNSP is closed. I'll check anyway.

Thanks.  Coming from Charlotte so want to avoid that drive if it is closed.  I'll ride a jumpline closer to home if it is.

Pretty sure there's a sign saying no parking on the grass there.  Sign was there last time I was there.
