Monday night there was a tree down about halfway up Death Hill. Meant to report it then. New skills feature is great! Go check it out! Also, there are two trail statuses. One says N Meck is open, the other says it is closed.

Fixed it. Deleted the older status. It shows closed. The TC will mark it open after checking it.

I work in Davidson. I can go by Fisher and grab one out of the shed. Lemmme know before 4:30 today. (Wednesday). Otherwise it will be Friday evening before I can get there.

OK. If this happens it will be about 5:15 P before I can get to Fisher to pick up a saw. Then however long it takes to get to N Meck with all the traffic on 115.

- @rockytop: please contact me directly about the chainsaw.  I don't have it.  Our past TC may have it.  He continues to help us out with a saw, but please either DM me here, or email- [email protected].  Let's confirm if this is the saw you speak of.
- The tree has been moved, another Trail Troll went out today to remove this morning and it was already gone.
- Sorry about trail status confusion.  We have had some really bad spots that we are trying to dry out, but the trail is about to be opened today- 1:45p

Sorry, but the trail is closed(again).  I'm out of town and getting reports from folks making laps.  Just got a boots on the ground report from one of our Trail Trolls(@3:25p), and NMP trail status is still too muddy.   

I've closed the trail again.  Sorry for the chaos this week.  Lots of travel.

I have a chainsaw and I live right across Sam Furr from north mecklenburg. Let me know if you need help clearing off the tree
