Is Sherman Really Open?

Id love to ride this morning and Sherman is listed as open.....If closed then Rock River Trial it is...Love RRT...but need to be in the right mindset (no night before beverages which it's too late..that ship sailed).

Anybody else at or going to Sherman?

The rain gauges show way less rain in that area than the rest of Charlotte. See link below. Not sure on Sherman definitively. I’ll be heading to RRT.

I wondered the same thing about Beatty.  The gauges seem like there was a good bit of rain there as well, but still open.   

I mean if its draining well and its good to ride, fantastic.  I just know it suffered a lot from being too wet this spring.

funny story that - I was at the trailhead at 6:50am today unloading my bike when the gate closed.  I figured it was gremlins but when I checked the site again it said closed (where before it was open when I drove out there) - I loaded up my bike and left so as not to harm the trail..

I was at Sherman this morning 8/6/2019 at 7:12am and the gate was open, the website says it was closed and still says it is closed at 10:29am. 

Is it open or closed?
