	As Jerry mentioned in the locked thread, all Meck P&R gates will be closed until further notice. However the information I've received so far is that walk in/ride in traffic is still allowed. Will update when I know more.

	Why is Ballantyne closed? Is that because it’s on YMCA property? Treated differently than a park? I thought it would be ride in only like the parks.

	Do you know if the Beatty gate is closed today? I can ride there and will ride it again if the gates are closed and crowds are reduced. It's been ridiculous overrun during the day.

	Hello, How do you know that the BYMCA trail is closed? Did you go there or checked status somewhere? The front page trail status lists this trail as open. I ask as I originally planned to ride Sherman but that is closed so I plan to ride BYMCA sometime today. Thanks waxhaw wrote on 04/08/20 at 11:56am: Why is Ballantyne closed? 	I believe the homepage should be updated: 4/20/20 04/08/2020: Mecklenburg County P&R has closed all park gates. Mecklenburg parks and greenways are not now available for walk-in and bicycle use only.

	Thanks for updating the homepage with "open/no parking" where applicable Drove by Beatty yesterday and there must have been 30-40 cars parked outside gate. Cops were there with lights on but didn't appear to be turning people away. Looked the same several hours later. ETA - drove by today and there are barricades across the entrance.. so no longer able to park outside gate.

I want to ride as much as anyone but be discreet about it, don't park in front of gates....or on Farmbrook. Lots of parking lots within a quick pedal of most trails.

	Also Davidson Parks and Rec says they will tow and fine in parked illegally if you try to use the field

Havent seen you in forever!! BTW, Beatty gates are closed but trails open, but its in rough shape ... still some muddy spots from the rain a few days ago...

	So is the PH lot open? Before anyone (like Stupordave) jumps my &^&^ for not looking at trail status to get an answer, PH is not doing split status like Sherman is. What day is it?
