Hi- 

As of April 9, North Meck Park remains open- MTB trail & parking.  Other park amenities are closed- bathrooms, tennis courts, hoops court and playground.  

While at the park, PLEASE continue to practice social distancing.  This includes parking!  Try to spread out as best you can.  The Huntersville Parks & Rec team will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis.    

IF social distancing tactics are implemented we have a chance to keep the parking lot open for a longer period of time as we are one of the last parks still allowing parking.  

So please:
- Maintain social distancing rules at ALL times
- Try to ride in group of 3 or less
- Give extra right or way to others on the trail
- Park your car away from others
- Don't linger in the parking lot before or after the ride

If we can practice the above we can increase our chances of keeping the park open.

The trail status on the front page is reflecting current trail conditions.  It rained a bunch yesterday.
