You can blame that on Kevin.

I second that. So much better flow and fun now.

The trail is awesome. Accessible, fun, flowy while still technical. The neighbors have been nothing but nice each time I've gone. Looking forward to the next visit

Is the trail too much for a gravel bike?  Thinking of riding there from Harrisburg.

Depends on your skill.  I know guys who do Rocky River on a gravel bike.  There's nothing technical that's mandatory.  Might slip out on some of the uphills with skinny tires, but that's about it.

I dont think it would be much fun on gravel bike.

I was just looking for something to do this morning besides a roadie ride but wound up slacking off too long and ran out of time.

Great job on the design and implementation.  The trail is about 2.6 miles total with the first 1.25 or so slightly rooty but rides easy and the climbs gently wind back up hill after some surprisingly fast downhill sections.  Then the trail surface becomes a little rockier and the cardio starts.  This is where it becomes a solid blue, so solid in fact that the square breaks dimensional barriers and becomes a cube.  The climbs are little steeper, longer and broken up with again some surprisingly fast downhill sections.  I'd like to be able to session this half.

I used to be addicted to the Hokey Pokey but then I turned myself around.

For those who frequent Concord and are keeping score, be aware that we implemented a pretty major reroute this weekend.  Take it easy on the first lap.  We've tried to make the new routing obvious but if you're used to bombing through certain areas and are on autopilot, you might not realize the change coming up.  The goal is to take the sting out of some of the climbs, and increase the flow a bit. This will be the last change to the trail, until the next one.

There are also 2 new big berms built.  Some areas are still soft, so wheels on the trail are welcome.

Hit it this morning before the heat and more rain came. The new changes are fabulous, it's so much better and will be appreciated by the newbies that will most likely frequent the trail. When it all gets packed in and hard it's gonna be a lot of fun. Kudos to you all!

There's a pretty good sized pine down about 2 miles in before that grunt climb out on the powerline ROW. Other than that, it's awesome. Can't wait for it all to get packed in and rolling fast.

Got a couple laps in last night and enjoyed the ride; has a Signal Hill vibe, but maybe that's just the toilet along the route.  Kudos to the builders and looking forward to it bedding in and I presume more looking at the available city-owned land on a map.  There's a sizable pine down that'll need a chainsaw to remove it.  The tree fell kinda lengthwise along/across the trail though - it's approached going uphill, so easy enough to spot before trouble, hop off and duck under.

If anyone knows the guys who have been building berms and features on the trail without coordinating with the TC, please tell them to get a hold of Kevin or PM me.

We appreciate the enthusiasm, but there are some issues with what's been done, both from a safety and practicality standpoint.  If we can channel that enthusiasm into the master plan, it will keep us from having to do double work.
