A large trail project in development through Mecklenburg county, Crescent Communities and THTB near the airport on a piece of vacant public land.  Phase I is not complete and not open to the public.  The THTB will share more information on the project once the County (the land manager) has made some decisions on a timeline for opening the park to the public.  The County and City (City owned parcel) do not endorse public access to this property at this time.

Here is some more info I posted in another thread (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links).

Thanks for the info!

Sherman Branch is the mid-year flow champ.  I don't think you'll find a better 11-12 mile flowing segment in CLT.  The cheers need to go to the trail crew that has it in amazing shape.

I used to be addicted to the Hokey Pokey but then I turned myself around.

Yep, I was blown away.  Would never have expected so much flow , downhill of that length.

Will also throw WWC Rail trail into the flow category.  The downhills off the backs of the first climb and punchy uphill off the right of way are cool.

Wow, thanks for all of the great responses. I've added a few of the trails mentioned to my wishlist.

I did get a chance to check out Anne Springs and I must say it was very flowy. This is a hidden gem IMO, and it seems like there's plenty of room for expansion.

I found plenty of nice berms and rollers (some that you could even double with enough speed). I'll definitely be returning soon.  Cool

Monbo at LNSP. Rode it again for the first time in a while this weekend. So fast and fun. Smiling ear to ear the whole time!

I agree on Dixie River having good flow,...but Paddys Creek at Lake James is the one I love the most, beats pretty much anything in the CLT area
