Kind cool - saw a piebald deer today in Lake Norman State Park... back half of Wildlife Loop.

The google machine says...A Piebald animal is an animal, usually a mammal such as a white-tailed deer or horse, that has a spotting pattern of large white and black patches. Piebaldness occurs due to genetic variations, not due to parasites or illness. We have a few of those running around the park.

Just gonna add... that is a standard run-of-the-mill white tail deer.  Piebald marking is a type of recessive coat that occurs in only about 1% of animals naturally, though if you selectively breed for it in domestic animals you can obviously increase that percentage.
