Rode BYT yesterday and noticed some A-H ripped off the tools from the work station at the top of the jump line! I thought it was such a cool thing that these were installed on a local trail. But always had the question in the back of my mind as to when some D-H would vandalize them. Guess I have my answer. I hope their hands burn every time they touch them!

Yes A-H indeed.   There were posts on FB a few days ago about this.  The Pedal Factory in Salisbury put up seed money and a fund me tab and within minutes 16 people pitched in $10 each to fund the $260 replacement cost for the Park Station.  I have plans to go to the shop for an event next Friday and can bring it down to Charlotte.  I don't really know my way at BYT (been ago 15 years since my last visit) and so it be great if a regular could meet me to help get it mounted.

This turn-around is amazing- you folks are awesome.  One question I have (and I mean this with the utmost respect) - is it a good idea to put the same tools in the same place and expect a different result?  There is just so much more traffic on these trails (with the new parking lot etc) - my concern is that they will rip off the tools again and your efforts are for naught.  Perhaps a different, visible location w more traffic so that they are safer?  In any case/ outcome- THANK YOU again!

I've got this replacement Park Tools work station in my possession at this time.  It should be an easy task to swap in the new tool cables into the mounting box but I have no idea where this thing was installed.  Can someone give me an idea where to park to get into the location the fastest on foot?
