It does and I don't even paddle.  There is a reason the town was named Great Falls before Duke built the dams.

I wonder how this will effect the USNWC... If they will have trails, and other activities as well.  It sure seems to be a cool project, cant wait for more things like this.  Maybe their beer wont beer wont be priced so high like the USNWC.  Still the USNWC is a great place.

I hope they leave the access open and not try to manage it like USNWC. Not that there is anything wrong with USNWC.
The island they are making into a park is 650acres. Should be room for a trail or two.

Here is a link somebody sent me for more info with video :

You mean, make it like a park and not like Carowinds?  Not that there''s anything wrong with Carowinds. Actually Carowinds does not charge you to use the parking lot so maybe that's not the best comparison.

I think they should make it like Dixie River.  Build it yet pretend it doesn't exist when anyone starts asking hard questions about how to access it.

Robert, I think thats a different thread. But I have several questions to ask you.

First, Why are you so unhappy? Anybody that obsesses over a mythical mountain trail with a giant padlock on it must be miserable. Why dont you load up your backpack with candy bars and head over to the Dixie River area and search for the holy trail. Nobody is stopping you.

Second, Are there medications that you are supposed to take regularly but sometimes you forget?

Third, Do you have anybody to talk to? I know at times our problems can seem insurmountable and it can help to share these problems with others. Perhaps you would benifit from speaking with a Therapist. I have heard of one that specializes in helping people with the kind of problems you are experiencing. Her name is Dr. Ruth Westheimer. I suggest you look her up online and make an appointment.
