Think King Kong or Jurassic Park.  Something very large (from tracks appears to be a full sized bulldozer) cut a wide swath heading in the direction of the abandoned bridge / overpass.

Although it did go over trail in several places, everything is still rideable, albeit does require slowing down.  Unfortunately by the freshness of the work, I expect more will follow.  Cry

I initially thought this was the long awaited development that resulted in the closure of School loop and Sugar, however placement isn't right...I think.

Unlike the dam work there were no posted signs.

And last week and didn't see any of this.
Nor were there any trail closures.

I called Anne Springs today. They said that is not their property, and did not know what the plans are for it. Embarrassed .  If you look on the Anne Springs trail map, the lower section doesn't appear to be on their property either.

Haven't been that way on the old trail in a couple of months.
Usually take the new trail.
I'll have to check it out next time I'm out there.

Signs are up now something like this...

Ride at your own risk - Trail is not part of Anne Springs.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.  Give your best anyway.

Not just signs, tape and lots of mid sized tree limbs.  Oh well.
