Just took the tape down on the last section,  trail is up to 4.25 miles now.  And you feel every bit of it.  Still have a few things to touch up but can use some tires on it.   It's a little soft right now but like the rest of the trail out there should harden up and roll nice.

Is there usable parking for this?  I am not familiar with this part of Concord.

Went out for the first time today, great job out there! Super fun, will be back. Those switchbacks must have taken some serious work.

Yes on the parking - nice, new, good-sized lot with a super-clean portapotty.

What an amazing trail you guys have created in such a place you would not think to have a trail.  This place is just awesome. The parking area is super nice, what a gem of a trail.

Is there room for more mileage there?

Excellent ride today on this trail. There was a limb down between MB21 and MB22. Anyone know who I can/should report this to?

I made it out there yesterday for the first time - Pretty cool trail.  There was obviously a lot of effort put into make this geographically small trail ride like a much more epic trail system.  It's definitely worth checking out.

Major props to the trail builders.  Lots of Poplar Tent type features.  Great flow and plenty of challenge.  Well worth visiting

Made it out for the first time on Friday. Fantastic trail building, making the most of what this land has to offer. Rode the whole thing like  Grin. Will be out here quite a bit as it's only 10 min from work!

Are there official open/close times for Brown Mill?  Wondering about night riding, but I'd guess the hours are dawn to dusk.

Yes, open dawn to dusk.   We talked to P&R about night riding and they said no.

This is recurring, right?  We are good to go for a night ride this Wednesday before Thanksgiving?  ...assuming trails are open.

Good Afternoon.. been thinking about checking this trail out though it's a bit of a trek for me coming all the way from Belmont, however, it seems like it NEVER closes? Is this legitimate?

Last two times most, if not all CLT area trails were closed due to rain, it's remained open? Including these last few days. Has Concord just dodged every storm we've had lately or would I be a fool to head out there?  Grin

I rode yesterday afternoon. A couple of puddles but it was fine. Good soil, lots of elevation and rock means it sheds water really well.

Think Uwharrie-like soil, or even Rocky River Trail soil.  Far less clay content than trails in Charlotte proper.  And, the elevation mentioned above.
