Volunteers just finished up an ~700' reroute on Widlife right at the beginning of the loop in this year's direction.  It's got 7 berms, and quite a lot of rollers.  Some rollers are more like small tabletops.

The trail and berms are beautiful red clay but that does mean it is absorbing lots of water right now while it's fresh.  Park staff will be keeping Wildlife closed an extra day after rain until that section hardens up and is shedding water as quickly as the rest of the trail.  So that's why you'll likely see the LKN trail status as a caution triangle on the website for the next few weeks after a rain has come through and other trails at the park open up.

The new features are nice! Red clay was perfect yesterday morning, really good flow whether you’re rolling or jumping them.
