WTB broken caliper or Ceramic piston

I am looking for the larger 17.2mm ceramic piston for my SLX M7120 caliper. I cracked one of the larger pistons and want to rebuild the caliper. If anyone has a M6120 M7120 M8120 or M9120 broken caliper they want to sell or a piston out of it let me know.

Thanks
Mike

Try ebay and amazon. Aluminum replacement pistons can be found on ebay and amazon for XT and XTR brakes. Maybe SLX as well.

I've used the cheap ti ones on Amazon to replace ceramics for my grx and xt m785, m8000 and 8120 brakes and they have all held up fine.  May be just my luck, but the ceramics seem to be the weak point in the system.

Thanks for the tips on finding replacements. The SLX, XT and XT on the Mx120 series brakes are the same as far as I know.

I am concerned about using metal pistons that will transmit heat much faster into the fluid compared to ceramic. Under normal riding conditions in CLT probably not an issue but riding in the Mtns during sustained downhill I am concerned.

Hasn't been a problem riding the big downhills in Pisgah.

Good to know, maybe 1 metal piston is not a big change in heat absorption.

FYI. I'm using two metal pistons and no heat issues.
