Hey all, I'm taking on a project for my brother in law and am looking for a cheap hardtail (or frame) that could fit a 5'4" person. I'm going to convert it to some kind of off-road capable cruiser so it definitely does not have to be modern or sophisticated. Some retro cool factor would be great too! 

Willing to spend up to $500. Also have plenty of modern, nice mtb and gravel bike parts I could offer in trade. Let me know what you have kicking around collecting dust!
