Any amateur mountain bike riders  that’s  familiar with the backyard trails. I’m trying to put together a amateur time trial competition. I’ll post a location and details later.

Howdy!  We need to get all the other people not having posted here in a long time posting here again as a public mental health effort since we all know that Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the like are rotting minds world-wide.  Wink

Would go a long way if the board and trail coordinators actually posted here.

How long is a long way?  Reaching 10 people doesn't seem like a very long way to me  Huh.

We send out between 6-10 email newsletters a year to the membership that shares all of the key happenings.  There are 500ish emails on that newsletter so I prioritize my limited board volunteers hours to that communication over the forums 100%.

Anyone who is a member should be getting those in your inbox.

There, a board member posted in the forums  Grin

I do see the value of Trail Coordinators being active in the forums.  Even if it's a limited reach the folks that are here are the OGs that will come out to lend an experienced hand.  But it's up to TC's on how then communicate.  The new TC at Renaissance is an admin of the CLT MTB FB group with thousands of members.  He advertises workday there since those are his peoples.  They do trail work every Monday at 5pm FYI

I have been a member paying through IMBA since 2020 and not getting these email messages.  How can we determine if we are on the mailing list used for this or if, perhaps, our specified email address is problematic.  I do reliably get email at the addressed aligned to my IMBA account and the one aligned to these forums.  If you count a third that was used for a Rally Up donation campaign, there has only ever been three mailboxes for me ever shared with the club.

Perhaps my reluctance is unwarranted.  Given the general topic we're discussing here, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised that you have only one post here under your belt.  Surely this is in conflict with your supposed role as a board member.

Exactly, no one has posted here in years no surprise it's a first post Smiley

Look at the commitment from the board though.  Just outstanding to meet you where you are  Wink

So what is the avenue to get questions or call outs to the TC's?  Can't start a new thread on TTB FB unless you have rights.

Case in point

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Any reason TC names and contact info can't be on the trails page?  Or, is the preferred approach each trail ( i.e. BYT) have their own FB page, since nobody visits this site?  Roll Eyes

FYI...  I received the "June 2023 Newsletter" via email last night, and this seems to be the first time such a message has hit my inbox.
