Wow!  So, that loop north of Rail actually happened.  It was on the map and labeled as "under development" for a long time and removed from the map earlier this year.  I had assumed that it had been dropped for one reason or another.  That add-on three miles will be great.  I still hate that we lost Tortuga, Thread, and Needle since these generally were a part of my route in one way or another when riding the northern trails as I often do.  Riding through the field to connect from Figure 8 to Academy just isn't the same.

Yup, and it is a fantastic trail.  Scenic and flowy.  One punchy climb at the beginning after the second bridge.
