Does anyone know what time Airline opens? I have been there at 7am before but I have been noticing that the trail status shows later than that. Driving from the other side of Charlotte sucks when you get there and it isn't open.

I am aware that volunteers open and close the gate so I respect their time and commitment. I just wanted to know if there was an official opening time.

If they are opening, it usualy is done by 9 from what I have expirienced
  
Do what you like. Stop hating people for their riding habits and get back to hating them for their skin color, religion, politics, and sexual orientation.
