Are we presenting our slate of nominees, or is that next month?

FYI...  I'll be talking about the Park & Rec Master Plan which the TB have been asked to participate as a stakeholder. I'll also give a greenway update and provide some information about the upcoming land bond at tonight's meeting.  See you tonight!

After all of the noise last night, any proposals for a new location?

We had some discussion after the meeting. Life was good when we were able to meet in the atrium, unfortunately we cannot meet there anymore so it is time for a new location. We are open to suggestion for something centraly located. Spit 'em out if you have any.

Gotta' make a decision soon.

Yep, it's a shame that we were booted from the atrium...We had a lot of good information to present last night, unfortunately not many could hear it...

We do have a spot in mind, but any suggestions would be appreciated...

The most important criteria would be a central Charlotte location, with easy interstate access...

Decent on-tap microbrews would be a plus, but being able to hear would take precedence over a high quality brew  Cry

That's a tough one..  Hard to please everyone.. Pel and Paul hang out at the most number of bars out of anyone I know..They can help.. Smiley Does Ed's Tavern have a downstairs on Park Rd? Used to when it was American Sports Bar years ago.. How about Morehead Taproom? ( I think that's what it is called.) Up on the top of Morehead by the Y. I think there is a downstairs there too.

Hmm....  You don't seem to be a stranger, either.  Historical knowledge implies you have been a regular patron of these fine establishments as well.

I got a garage and a Igloo full of PBR.
Sucks that yinz can't be in the atrium.  It was pretty ideal.

You guys need to quit worrying about a place that serves good beer and find a good location for a meeting Kiss  Your secretary is going to resign if she can't hear to take minutes because of all the rowdy drunks in the place! Grin  Jerry, I'm all for meeting at the original location (Fuel Pizza formerly Godfather's Pizza) if you or someone reliable has checked it out.  Or maybe I should check it out since I'm the picky one Wink

Could it be changed to a less busy night like monday or tuesday?  Thursday seems a busy night out at restaurants and bars.

I'd love to go to more THTB meetings but I don't and here are a few reason's why.

First Thursday of the month...  As a former accountant, or anyone that is involved in closing of the books of a business, preparing any kind of month end reports that often just doesn't work.

Thursday - as noted it is a popular night to go out for Happy hour or anything else.  Going on a long weekend and took Friday off, when do you leave?  During the summer the THTB are competing with things such as Live After 5 and countless other social events (including thirsty Thursday at the WWC).  The THTB have great participation of the older crowd, but there are lots of mountain bikers between the ages of 21-35 that like to be socially active as well.

Location - The Fox N Hound in the center of Uptown has great space both upstairs and down (it is a 3 floor establishment).  The downstairs is reserved for Gator football games on Saturday's and would easily be a good place to hold a meeting on an off night.  It is easy to get to, very centrally located and plenty of free parking unless there is an event at the Bobcat's arena or something.

Just some thoughts
